On our website you will see multiple products with a feature, convertible cuffs, but what does that mean?
What are Convertible Cuffs?
It's simple, convertible cuffs are manufactured with an extra layer of fabric that can be folded over to cover a baby's hands or feet.
Why are Convertible Cuffs Useful?
Depending on your child and circumstances, convertible cuffs may have varying levels of usefulness.
Cuffs on the hands tend to be most useful in the 0-6 month stages, where babies may scratch their skin in their sleep. My daughter in particular scratched in her sleep in the first 4-5 months, so having convertible cuffs was very helpful.
Temperature may also have a role in the usefulness of convertible cuffs. In cooler temperatures, I like to cover my daughter's feet while she sleeps. When she wakes up, I can easily fold the convertible cuff back up so that I can get socks and shoes on her feet to go grocery shopping.
